Assessing Occupational Health and Safety Practices in the Manufacturing Sector: Evidence from PT Tirta Investama Subang

This research aims to analyze the implementation of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) at PT Tirta Investama Subang. The application of OHS is essential to create a safe, healthy, and productive work environment and to reduce the potential for workplace accidents. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method by collection data through interviews, observation, and documentation. The result show that PT Tirta Investama Subang has provided appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), adequate occupational health and safetyfacilities, and routinely conducts OHS training. However, the core issue found in this research is the lack of discipline among some workersin using PPE and the low awareness of the importance of OHS procedures. Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen supervision, conduct additional training, and improve awareness of the OHS culture across all work lines at PT Tirta Investama Subang.
